When do you need a pressed ceramic veneer?
The e.max pressed ceramic veneer is a thin layer that is used to cover the front of the tooth to correct aesthetic deficiencies: this procedure is used for discoloured, slightly irregular or too small teeth, even for smaller gaps. This material can best imitate the appearance of natural enamel. In addition, it is more resistant to various stress effects than the so-called direct veneers.
Of course, the e.max pressed ceramic veneer fits into the denture, creates an absolutely realistic effect, and offers a quick solution to cover a myriad of aesthetic problems. As mentioned, it allows you to change the shape, size, length, and colour of your tooth.
If there is enough tooth enamel to properly secure the veneer and there is no significant difference in the position of the bite, there is no obstacle to making the veneers.

In many cases, the veneers are an excellent substitute for the functions performed by dental crowns, and their application requires much less preparation.

Did you know?
In a relatively short time, we can create a completely new smile for our patients with e.max pressed ceramic veneers with minimal tooth loss: it requires only an average of half a millimeter of grinding from the tooth surface. The veneer does not cover the entire tooth, only 75% of it, so the back surface does not need to be prepared. For the crown, on the other hand, approx. 1 mm of the entire surface -so some of the healthy tooth- will probably be ground away to allow the crown to fit properly.
The Hollywood smile is typically produced with this technique for the biggest stars, of course with additional treatments and aesthetic adjustments if needed.
