Why is a dental check-up important for children as well? Mastering dental and oral care is very important as a child, and it will largely determine what the permanent teeth (also known as the adult teeth) will look like.
As early as the first deciduous teeth come out, regular dental check-ups are recommended to prevent and treat incipient caries, and in the case of irregular teeth to prescribe orthodontic treatment.
